The weather has taken a sharp turn, and this morning, the temperature dropped to a brisk 0 degrees Celsius. After sending my son off to school, I couldn’t resist the urge to crawl back into bed; the warmth inside felt too comforting to leave. I drifted off, savoring the coziness, only for my eyes to flutter open when the alarm blared at 8 a.m. Despite my reluctance to rise from the snug blankets, I summoned the willpower to push through and begin my day.
Not all days are same. Does it happen to you as well?
After freshening up, I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen, where all I craved was a steaming cup of tea. My husband, on the other hand, was looking for something quick to eat—just enough to fuel him before diving into his workday.
As many of you know, I’m currently taking on a 30-Day Body Reset challenge, and today, I decided to prepare Sprouts Poha. It’s a healthier alternative to the traditional poha, packed with more nutrients and a perfect way to fuel my body while staying on track with my goals.
The recipe for sprouts poha is shared below-
- Poha- 1 cup
- Moong sprouts – 1 cup
- Onion- 1 chopped
- Green chilies – 2 chopped
- Curry leaves – 5 or 6
- Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
- Cooking oil- 1tbsp
- Tomatoes-1 chopped
- Cilantro- 2 tbsp chopped
- Salt – to taste

Recipe –

Sauté till the onions get cooked and then add tomatoes.
Once the tomatoes are cooked, add sprouts and cook for 2-3 minutes
Then add salt, chili powder and poha.
