HAPPY NAVRATRI EVERYONE!!
Navaratri is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity Durga. The word Navaratri means ‘nine nights’ in Sanskrit, Nava meaning nine and Ratri meaning nights. is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity Durga . The word Navaratri means ‘nine nights’ navameaning nine and ratri meaning nights.
During these Nine days, People usually keep fasts for 9 days or they try to avoid some food items like meat, onion, garlic, Alcohol etc. I believe all these traditions in our culture were originally made because they have science behind it.

Start your day with a energy full breakfast. Portion controlled diet never causes any harm so I am sharing my portion wise meal plan with you.
BREAKFAST
1 cup tea with 2 Aloo Sabudana Tikki with Falahari Chutney

Recipe of Falahari Chutney
1 bunch of Coriander leaves
1-2 green chilies
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Sindhav Salt ( or if you eat regular salt)- to taste
1 tomato ( add amchur if don’t eat tomato)
lemon juice according to taste
Grind together everything and serve with your favorite snack.
MID-MORNING
One small Apple
LUNCH
1 Bowl Samak Rice pulav with Cucumber Raita or Dahi ke Aloo or Chutney

EVENING SNACK
Roasted Makhana Namkeen
Recipe
Heat Desi Ghee in a nonstick pan, Add 1 cup of Makhanas Sindhav salt and pepper and mix well. Serve hot with Tea.
DINNER
2 Stuffed Paneer and carrot Kuttu kacheela
