BIG BLACK FREEZE

Smoothies are a great way to start our day. Smoothie contain a good amount of fibre, something that is that is an important nutrient itself. Indeed, fibre is an essential and all too often lacking ingredient in our diets. Not only does it help in keep our guts clean, but it also helps to healthy and to maintain the right levels of good bacteria.
Also since most smoothies have yogurt in them, so they also provide the required intake of protein. A quick and easy breakfast for those who have less time or a filling one for those who are fighting to loose weight.

Black berries can help to promote the healthy tightening of tissue, which is a great non-surgical procedure to make skin look younger. The dark blue colour ensures blackberries have one of the highest antioxidant levels of all fruits. Antioxidants, well-known for lowering the risk of a number of cancers, are a huge bonus, but be aware the berries are best consumed in their natural state to get the full benefits.

BIG BLUE FREEZE

INGREDIENTS

4 handfuls blue/black berries ( or you can use shahtoot in India)
2 tbsp. non fat yogurt
2 tbsp. of apple juice

METHOD

Wash the berries and blend all the ingredients in a blender. Keep in refrigerator 15 minutes prior to serve.
Enjoy this refreshing and healthy smoothie and stay healthy. Serve chilled!
